Where’s The “Care” In Health Care?

You will get good results if you study hard, pay attention during class and ask questions when they arise. On a side note, students who do their training through the Red Cross seem to do very well in the exams.

I wasn’t surprised when they asked if they could sleep on my office couch. I was surprised when I said yes. For the next few months they kept the ministry center neat, hauled off trash and worked odd jobs for shower or laundry money.

Even if the climate bill costs Americans money, it will create lots of jobs. At least, that’s what the Democrats tell us. They claim that reducing dependence on fossil fuels and increasing our dependence on green fuels will create a tremendous number of jobs. There is no doubt this will be true. More green energy jobs will be created. Unfortunately, they leave out one small fact: If we decrease dependence on fossil fuels, won’t the “new” green energy jobs come at the expense of the “old” energy jobs? Will the country really gain jobs? If anything, I think workers in the energy sector will be lucky to break even on the number of jobs created.

Once you have got your certified nursing assistant certification there will be a time in the future when you will have to renew it. Mostly the registration should be completed once every two years. In order to keep your registration current you will need to complete a refresher course and do a little bit of continuing education and perform a certain number of hours annually. Mostly these days renewal can be done over the phone or internet.

Drug costs are one thing many people struggle with. I also recall some research that once showed that a drug plan can be better than free healthcare because many problems are caused by people either not taking their prescriptions or not taking them as directed because of cost. One of the main factors that can inhibit people taking their drugs is the cost. Generic drugs can greatly help with the cost.

After the written part is the practical portion. During this section of the test you will be asked to demonstrate the practical qualities that a nursing assistant must have. Most of the exams will make you perform three to five skills completely. You must have all parts of the test under control before you demonstrate your skills in their full entirety.
